UGA Men’s Tennis Prescription Drug Scandal Update

The University of Georgia men’s tennis team continues to deal with a prescription drug theft crime discovered back in May.

The incident happened within the tennis program and centered around assistant coach Bo Hodge.

However, Alex Diaz, a former student and member of the team faces felony charges.

Diaz was red-shirted for the 2016-2017 season, but more importantly is the son of head coach Manny Diaz.

Former assistant coach Hodge graduated from UGA in 2004, where he also played tennis.

He was fired after a University of Georgia police investigation this past summer.
