Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement to Hold Protest

The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement is protesting against discriminatory bar practices in downtown Athens. This is after a ordinance was passed by the county commission last year in an effort to stop discrimination.

Grady Newsource tried to get in contact with the Athens Clarke Attorney’s Office to ask about the discrimination complaints that have been filed, but no calls have been returned.

President of the Athens Anti Discrimination Movement Mokah Johnson stresses that the protest is not just about bars, but rather systemic discrimination in Athens.
