G-Day: What to Know for Big Event

Gates open at 1 p.m. for the annual spring game in Sanford Stadium.

The only thing that makes this season’s game any different is the pass system that is being implemented due to the West End Zone construction of Sanford Stadium. Each guest will receive a pass when entering the gate, with a specific section to sit in. If there are any further questions regarding the pass system, they can be directed to facilitysupport@sports.uga.edu.

Gates 2-9 will be open for entry. Gate 10 will be closed due to the West End Zone construction.

There will be a canned drive hosted by UnitedHealthcare on behalf of the Food Bank of North East Georgia. Monetary donations will also be accepted inside the gates at the UnitedHealthcare display from 1 p.m. until kickoff.

At 1:15 p.m. the Letterman’s Flag Football Game begins. The participants in this game are UGA Football Alumni. Fans are welcome to watch.

The incoming class of 2018 signees will be introduced to the fans at half-time.

Kickoff for G-Day is 4 p.m.

The clear bag policy will be implemented for G-day.
