The Lead: Greg Bluestein (Part 2/2) On Impeachment And Insurrection

This week’s guest of The Lead requires little introduction. Greg Bluestein, a political reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, joins us again to continue our conversation about national political events and what they mean for Georgia.

As he shares how he experienced Jan. 6, the day of the insurrection at the Capitol, and walks us through the process of publishing a book, it’s clear that Bluestein is a storyteller. And through his reporting, he has a goal: to tell stories about what is happening in our communities, from the national to the state level.

If you missed part one of our conversation, you can catch up here. For part two, listen below:

Caroline Odom is a junior majoring in journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. She is also majoring in risk management and insurance with a certificate in personal and organizational leadership at UGA’s Terry College of Business.
