Arts in the Park at Hurricane Shoals Kicks Off Saturday

Maysville, GA- The Tumbling Water Society and Hurricane Shoals Park are holding the annual Arts in the Park Festival on September 17 and 18.

Events include a 5k Mill Race, a Civil War battle reenactment, and a bluegrass festival. Heritage Village, a collection of historic, 19th century buildings, will hold soap making, broom making, and blacksmithing.There will also be a kid’s zone along with miniature golf.

Admission and parking is free. The festivities begin at 7 a.m. September 17 with the 5k Mill Race.
