Winder, GA – The Barrow County Board of Education is holding a special session tonight at six in Winder. The board will hear from candidates who will replace member Mitch Churchill. Churchill’s resignation will be effective at the end of the month. The remaining board members will choose his successor. He or she will serve the remaining two years of his term.
