Carter Greene has been wearing his uniform for over 30 years. He hopes he can potentially become permanent because of his experience with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. Greene says Chief Lumpkin has always been his mentor and he hopes all the knowledge he’s learned can help him become police chief one day soon.
