Clarke Central pitcher throws no hitter against Cedar Shoals

ATHENS- The Clarke Central Baseball team will try to extend its winning streak to three games tonight when the players take on Lanier High School in Gwinnett.

The Gladiators won both games of a double header yesterday against cross-county rival Cedar Shoals. Each team desperately needed a victory going into the game. Clarke Central had won only two games and Cedar Shoals was still looking for their first. The gladiators recieved a major boost from junior Noah Fairbairn. He pitched a no hitter in the first game and in the next game played second base.

The Clarke Central Baseball team will finish up its regular season with games against Lanier on Wednesday and Friday.
