Congressman Hice Holds Tele-Town Hall

Congressman Jody Hice is holding a teleconference town hall meeting in under an hour at 6 p.m. for Georgia’s 10th Congressional District.

Representative Hice said in a press release that he hosts telephone town halls because they give every constituent the ability to join the conversation from the convenience of their own home.

Since being elected to Congress for Georgia’s 10th Congressional District, Jody Hice has hosted 12 teleconference town hall meeting.

Nadgey Louis-Charles, Congressman Hice’s communications director, said in a statement to Grady Newsource that these teleconference town hall meetings are the best medium to reach constituents and that Congressman Hice reached over 3,000 constituents during his October call.

Reporter Tori McElhaney spoke with local political science professors on this recent trend.

We call them Tele-phony Town Hall’s, since Hice monologues about himself and the clever way He misuses his constituents in his grossly gerrymandered district that he misrepresents with his own interests in mind. #GOPedoTaxScam
