Free Rides to Tate

Who doesn’t enjoy free rides?  Well, the luck of the Irish might be on your side today.  Reporter Steven Farmer tells us UGA Campus Transit is providing security transportation for all students going to the Park Hall or Hull Street parking decks. Student drivers will be driving vans ordinarily used for students with disabilities. The program was requested by the Student Government Association and is now on a temporary run that will conclude on May fourth, after which it will be reviewed for effectiveness. The cost of the program is estimated to run up to twenty thousand dollars. Vans began rolling out last night.
