According to head coach Mark Richt in his telephone conference Sunday night, running back Sony Michel fractured a bone in his hand early in the game but continued to play with a wrapped hand.
The University of Georgia Women’s Volleyball team lost in straight sets to no. 12 Florida Sunday night. The team has now lost 10 games in a row, its last win was on Sept. 19 against VCU.
UGA Men’s golf team is in Atlanta today for the East Lake Cup tournament. Georgia will face LSU teeing off at 11:55 a.m. The winner’s from the semi-final rounds will meet in the championship round on Tuesday.
Men’s basketball plays its first exhibition game this Friday at 7 p.m. against Armstrong State.
High school football is winding down as playoffs approach. Prince Avenue Christian remains undefeated (9-0) as they beat Lakeview Academy 56-0 on Oct. 30. They return to action in their last regular season game against Providence Christian on Nov. 6.
