New Licensing Ordinance for Oglethorpe County

A new ordinance requires salesmen to acquire a license for door-to-door sales in Oglethorpe County. Without this license, a fine of up to $1000 per day per violation per individual participant is possible. This ordinance is not intended to stop sales. It hopes to decrease the number of people knocking on doors who may not be legitimate.
