Athens, Ga- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators began an investigation of a large amount of copper being sold at a local recycling center. During this investigation they were able to determine that the copper had been stolen from a business in Athens. On January 27th, 2015 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for Jarvis Jaron Browner. Twenty-four year old Browner is facing a Felony Charge of Theft by Receiving. Browner has not yet been arrested on this outstanding warrant.
