Transfit Athens Helps Women With Crisis Pregnancies

Transfit Athens is different than most gyms. It works to transform women not only physically but spiritually.
The trainers incorporate Christian faith and worship into their personalized exercise programs.

Transfit trainer, Shelley Tanner, started Hope 139 House to support pregnant women and new moms who need extra help. The organization is saving to purchase a maternity home that would be able to house up to sixteen women in crisis.

Transfit owner, Caroline Ward, says she’s happy to support one of her trainers and her great cause.

“It’s really to care about these women who are getting ready for pregnancy or just finishing pregnancy,” says Ward. “And I just thought what an amazing ministry for women in the community and women here at transfit to support other women who are less fortunate.”

Transfit Athens is hosting a free workout for women tonight at 6 p.m. There will be t-shirts, jewlery, and other merchandise available for sale. Sales and donations will go to Hope 139 House.
