UGA Paint Line: Breast Cancer Awareness

ATHENS, Ga.– For nearly 15 years, the UGA Paint Line has been yelling and screaming in red and black in support of the Georgia Bulldogs. The colors will change this Saturday.

They will be painting up in pink for the Missouri game in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

Matthew Efird, a fan on the paint line, finds the cause a little more meangingful. Both his grandmother and minister’s wife were diagnosed with breast cancer.

Everyone on the paint line goes to the Baptist Collegiate Ministry on UGA’s campus. They say part of their goal is to not only cheer on the dawgs, but to do it in a way that honors their beliefs.

And regardless if UGA wins or loses, the paint line shows up, knowing they can still make a positive impact.
