UGA Volleyball Loss

Athens, GA- Georgia’s women’s volleyball team lost in three games to the eighth ranked Florida Gators last night at Stegeman Coliseum.  More than 1400 fans showed up at Georgia’s Dig Pink match against the Gators. People purchased pink t-shirts for a minimum $5 donation in support of breast cancer awareness. The Bulldogs raised more than $1500 dollars and the money will go to the Athens Regional Breast Health Center.

Georgia now falls to 10 and 12 on the season, two and eight in conference play. Head coach Lizzy Stemke talks about playing hard despite the loss.
