Here’s a look at which county government meetings are happening this week.

Monday, November 2nd:

Barrow County is having two public hearings for the FY2016 Millage Rates at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Commission Meeting Room, and a Special Called Meeting afterwards at 7 p.m..

Jackson County is meeting for its Commissioners’ Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Jury Assembly room. No agenda has been posted yet.

Madison County is having a Commissioners’ Meeting tonight. No agenda has been posted yet.

Oglethorpe County is meeting for a Commissioners’ Meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. No agenda has been posted yet.

Oconee County is having a Board of Elections & Registration meeting today at 5:00 p.m., discussing poll worker training, the November 3rd special election and more. The Keep Oconee County Beautiful committee will also hold a meeting at 7 pm. No agenda has been posted yet.

Tuesday, November 3rd:

Athens-Clarke County is having a Mayor & Commission Regular Session at 7:00 p.m. The committee will be discussing 22 topics, including the GOHS HEAT Grant, alcohol service hours and the repeal of domestic partnership benefits.

Barrow County is having a Board of Elections and Registration meeting at 3:30 p.m. at this address: 233 East Broad Street, Winder, GA.

Madison County is having a Planning & Zoning meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Oconee County is hosting a Board of Commissioners’ meeting at 7:00 p.m. with topics including Human Resources Policies and Procedures, zoning matters and more.

Wednesday, November 4th – Thursday, November 5th:

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is having an AM Exchange from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, and an After Hours event from 5:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. on Thursday evening. The Board of Commissioners have been invited to attend.
