UPDATE: Two Men Charged with Burglary Out on Bond

Athens, GA — Two men arrested for burglary by Athens Clarke-County police on Monday are out on bond. Athens PD says they arrested the two men after officers caught them in the act of breaking into a west side home. Officers responded to the area and found Deerickious Malik Davenport and Readale Michael Thomas lifting a window at the back of a home in the 300 block of Fortson Drive. Davenport, 18, and Thomas, 20, were each charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, loitering or prowling, criminal trespass and obstruction of a law enforcement officer
