Winning Lottery Ticket

One local grocery store is feeling a little bit lucky. It’s the Kroger off Epps Bridge Parkway.

One man just won a ticket worth over $250,000 that he purchased from the store.

Although the store did not know about the ticket, Chris Taylor, the store’s manager isn’t surprised.

He told us that’s the second big lottery ticket they have sold in just the past few months.

Taylor hopes the winning ticket will start a new trend at the store.

He said, “Well I would say that, I would encourage a lot of people to start buying some lottery tickets here as well as groceries.”

James Moore is the winner of the ticket, he didn’t want to talk about his winnings, but Taylor says this is a big win for Kroger as well. — Ashley ShahAhmadi and Lindsay Tuman
