300 Miles In 30 Hours

Athens, GA- 300 miles in 30 hours? UGA Baptist Collegiate Ministry students and alumni are taking on the challenge and are riding bicycles from Athens to Jacksonville for the Georgia-Florida game this weekend. This is the 14th year the ministry has participated in “Ride for Christ”. There are some bikers that ride the entire 300 miles, while others take turns riding on the bus and riding on a bike. Participants left this morning at 9:30 and will arrive in Jacksonville tomorrow afternoon. The BCM riders raised at least $300 each and some have raised over $1,000. This money allows students to go on mission trips around the world.
