Ebola UPDATE

Athens, GA–A second Dallas Health Care worker diagnosed with Ebola is in flight to Atlanta. The CDC is not saying whether or not the patient has landed yet. Health Care officials say she flew on a commercial airplane Monday–the day before she reported symptoms. CDC Director Tom Frieden said that the patient did not vomit nor was she bleeding prior to boarding the plane, so there was no reason to believe she should not have boarded the plane. He also said the patient is improving.

Reporter Tevin Reeves visited local hospitals and health clinics today to see what they’re doing to prepare for a potential case in our area, and he found that they are prepared. More updates to come later.
