Stone Mountain Park Proposes MLK Monument

Stone Mountain Park has proposed a monument be built on top of the mountain to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The structure will commemorate King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, given at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 28, 1963.
