Stories to Watch: Oct 15

Here are the top stories we are following in Northeast Georgia today:

– The 2015 freshman class is the most diverse in school history. To add to the diversity, a Black Alumni Affinity group is coming to UGA. Reporter Damian Reynolds looks more into this today.

– Athens CASA swears in 23 new advocates today at 4:30 p.m. Reporter Shannon Basford spoke with a CASA volunteer about the new advocates today.

– Annette Blackmon has been driving school buses for 15 years at Comer Elementary School. She also volunteered inside the classroom to help migrant students improve their reading skills. Reporter Valerie Burgos has her story.
