Historical Dorm Now Welcomes Males

One historical dorm at UGA is breaking tradition. Boys are now calling Brumby Hall home after 47 years of the dorm being female only. Freshmen students knew the dorm would be co-ed starting this fall when they requested housing. Some major renovations were made to the bathrooms so both genders can use them. Freshman Lauren Reischman is excited about one major change. “They changed the height of the shower heads, which I had heard horror stories about having to do squats when taking a shower,” said Reischman.
