The Pentagon is “ready to go” if orders come in for a military strike on Syria. An exact date has not been named but NATO has issued a warning to Syria and there are armed warships in the Mediterranean Sea.

Our reporters have been covering all of the events on campus today in honor of Martin Luther King and civil rights. The UGA Visitor’s Center offers tours that explain the desegregation of the university and how these tours are empowering students now.

We have updated footage from Oconee Street United Methodist Church that caught fire in April. Tune in tonight for more on how the demolition is moving forward.

In national news, the housing market is on the rise, but not for new homes because mortgage rates are higher.
