How Athens Takes on Water Pollution through Pet Waste Stations

As dogs play in Athens, their unattended waste poses an unsuspecting threat to the community’s water quality. Through the installation of pet waste stations, the county equips pet owners with waste bag dispensers and trash bins, empowering them to swiftly clean up after their furry companions.

Abbey Brantley, Isabelle Atkins and Nava Rawls are seniors majoring in journalism in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
