New athletic facility keeps athletes out of the elements

Athens, GA – A potential athletic facility could keep University of Georgia athletes training during the winter. The UGA athletic board is looking into plans for an indoor facility that will keep athletes training for the indoor season. This means that athletes like triple jumpers will be able to practice year-round in sand pits like the one shown here, rather than practicing in snow. Reporter Ashley Rosenberg has more details on how the track team can benefit from this indoor facility.
