Athens-Clarke County Schools maintain student safety in case of active threat

Athens, GA – Locked doors, security cameras, and evacuation procedures…today Newsource Reporter Didi Abdulnabi checked into the safety procedures at Athens-Clarke County schools following a terroristic threat at the University of Georgia last Friday. Clarke County officials spoke told us that they were confident in the procedures that they already have set up. Clarke Central High School alone has over 150 cameras throughout the building to ensure student safety not just when they walk into school, but even when they leave school after the last bell rings.
