ATHENS, Ga- Pictured is UGA sophomore, Kaitlin Long who was hit by a car while walking on September 16th. She was crossing the street between Busbee Hall and the East Campus Village bus stop. Long suffered a concussion as well as other injuries. The UGA police department says that several accidents involved with pedestrians are occuring on campus but for reasons that can be prevented. Reporter Taylor Saxton has more on Long’s reaction to her accident and UGA police’s plan to keep the campus safe.
