Grady Newsource Profiles: Becky Huss

Students in one Maysville school are actually begging their parents to let them go to school. That may sound unusual, but it’s all because one teacher uses creativity and free-thinking to inspire her students.

Becky Huss is in her eighth year of teaching at Maysville and works mostly with the gifted students. She has taught over 300 kids this fall alone. Huss incorporates new technology, stretch-time and even some light music to breed innovative thinkers.

If you’d like to check out some of her fourth and fifth graders class work, here’s their class website – hussclass.weebly.com
