Harry’s Barbeque Gets It’s Wheels

ATHENS, GA- Harry’s Barbeque in downtown Athens has closed it’s restaurant doors but that doesn’t mean that it has stopped serving up it’s barbecue, mac n’ cheese, and baked beans.

However, owner Ashley Epting has big plans for the restaurant. He plans to open a food truck to keep the business running, literally.

Epting, who also owns Eptings Events, closed down the restaurant because he didn’t have the time to devote to it. But he’s not letting that slow him down. Epting hopes that the food truck will be up and running by January 2015 right in time for the influx of UGA’s student population.

The food truck will serve Harry’s core menu items to customers on the go. Epting says he may alter portions and prices to fit his new business.
