January is National Blood Donor Month and American Red Cross supporters are starting a brand new campaign. It’s called Sleeves Up and its the first website that creates a virtual blood drive.
Here’s how it works: You can go to the American Red Cross Website and start your very own campaign. Campaigns can be made in memory of a loved one, for a birthday or anniversary, or for no reason at all. Once you make a campaign, you can invite friends to their nearest blood drive where they can donate blood through your campaign. The University of Georgia is hosting a blood drive today at Tate at 2:30 p.m.
