Local High School Doubles Special Ed. Graduation Rate

Barrow, GA — Winder Barrow High School has doubled its special education graduation rate. The high school has been removed from the state’s Focus School List – a list administered by the The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement ranking schools based on poor graduation performances. Barrow County Schools Superintendent Dr. Chris McMichael says the Focus School List, “didn’t feel like it really represented what they’re doing over here.”
