Seaport Airlines Leaving Ben Epps Airport

ATHENS. Ga-  Today is the second to last day flights from Seaport Airlines will take off from Athens Ben Epps Airport. A new airline is expected to take its place in the Spring.

One customer says,“I went online, bought my ticket and then I found out it would the last flight to Nashville.”

This same customer says “I’ll look into a bus or train,” since Seaport will no longer be in service to her usual destination. Reporter Andrew James has more on this story and customer’s reactions to losing the airline.
