Marking 25th Anniversary of the HOPE Scholarship
The first HOPE scholarships were awarded a quarter-century ago. Sept. 1 marks the 25th anniversary of the landmark program to benefit high-performing students. It’s gone through changes over the years. Students told Grady Newsource reporter Cheyenne Brown they couldn’t go to school without it.
