UPDATE 12:37 pm Thu, Oct. 16, 2014: The first Texas nurse who contracted Ebola at Dallas Hospital is being moved to a National Institutes of Health facility in Bethesda, Maryland for treatment in a isolation unit.

Nina Pham contracted the virus white treating Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan who died last week at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

The Dallas hospital where an Ebola patient died and two nurses contracted the virus is apologizing for mistakes they made when first handling the virus.

The second nurse to contract Ebola at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas is now being treated in an isolation unit at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Ebola screenings at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and other large American airports begin today for passengers arriving from West Africa.  Specially-trained border agents will check their temperatures using non-contact thermometers.

Heads of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health are testifying to House response committee for Ebola.  This could could push forward a plan to prohibit hospital workers who treated the Ebola victims from boarding planes.

Meanwhile, the federal government is taking heat for its handling of the Ebola.  The House committee will address why the Atlanta patient who treated an Ebola patient in Dallas was was allowed to board a plane when she reported having a low fever.
