The Georgia primary is May 19, and ahead of Election Day, we asked voters why they vote, how they vote and what issues matter most to them.

Students in Reporting II: Research, Data and Documents for Reporting used statewide voter data to gain familiarity with Georgia voters and to find stories in the data. Then they interviewed voters who represented the data trends shown in their infographics for these stories.

All reporting was completed by students in Reporting II in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
