High School Football Injuries

A high school football player died on Friday night. De’Antre Turman, 16, played for Creekside High School. He was playing in a scrimmage when he fractured a vertebrae in his spinal cord after a routine tackle. Grady NewSource is investigating what local high schools are doing to keep high school athletes safe. Reporter Brenna Bocinski will talk with Clarke Central High School Athletic Director Jon Ward about a new online concussion management course for coaches.
