An Update on Oglethorpe County’s ‘Black Hole’

The uproar among Oglethorpe County citizens that led to the gym being referred to as a ‘black hole’ is quieter as construction moves forward on the Oglethorpe County High School gym.

Director of System Operations Cindi Lowe and Construction Manager Malcom Bryan give an update on the modernization project and explain what will go into the new gym, including updating it to comply with the American Disabilities Act, adding a wrestling room, and updating the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lockers.
