Pops of Color to Vintage Accents: Inside the Rooms of UGA Students

University of Georgia students bring character to their college bedrooms through artwork, accessories and other items that remind them of family, home, study abroad trips and summer travel. Finding their personal style — often on a budget — is part of the evolution from dorm room to apartments, townhomes and houses in Athens.

Color palettes vary, with some choosing bright pops of pink and orange to play off the neutral walls while others prefer soothing sage and earthy tones.

Here’s how UGA students showcase their personality in rooms on and off campus.

This interviewing project is by students in Lori Johnston’s home and garden reporting class.
