ACCPD Advisory – Accumulated Snow & Ice on Buildings

ATHENS, GA – The Athens-Clarke County Police have released an advisory about the accumulated snow. Read it here below:

Accumulated snow and ice on buildings and structures
Athens-Clarke County Police are advising citizens to use caution around buildings and structures in the downtown area.

Snow and ice that has accumulated over the last few days is currently melting and falling onto the sidewalks and parking areas around these structures. Citizens should watch for falling ice and snow and stay clear of building roof lines.

Please be aware that this risk exists with any structures or buildings in Athens-Clarke County as temperatures have risen above freezing.
