Athens in Running for High Speed Railway

Athens- A high speed train could be laying down tracks in Athens soon. Athens is one of three finalist to have a high speed railway run through it. The proposed plan would have a train run from Charlotte, North Carolina to Atlanta. At its highest speed, the train would travel over two hundred miles per hour and could make the trip in a little over two hours. Reporter Kimberly Johnson will have more about the chances of the train coming to Athens tonight at five.
