Barrow County Inmates Encouraged to Further their Education

Barrow County inmates will soon have a better chance for a successful job. Lanier Technical College will offer a GED program designed to help citizens on probation earn their degree. Lead instructor Beth Magness said she hopes the class will encourage probationers to prepare for the exam before they spend the $160 to take the test.
