Bus Driver Gets Pursuit of Excellence Award

Watkinsville, GA-  We’ve all heard about teachers of the year and merit scholars, but for the first time an Oconee County bus driver is being honored with a Pursuit of Excellence Award. Robert Harris, a bus driver from Colham Ferry Elementary, was recently presented the award. Faculty and staff at the school say Ferry is special to the students and everyone at the school. Harris says getting kids home safely is important, but he’s most proud of leaving an impact.
