Star Cedar Shoals point guard Jerrick Mitchell isn’t too worried about tonight’s playoff game against Lanier High School. He already led his squad to a double digit victory over the Longhorns. But that doesn’t mean he is overlooking them in the playoffs.

“I feel good going into tonight,” Mitchell said. “I feel like we had a good practice.”

Last year, the squad made it all the way to the final four. Head Coach L’Dreco Thomas says that extra experiance will help them going into this years playoff run.

“We try not to think about it,” Coach Thomas says. “We were in that situation last year and we kinda pulled it away at the last minute.”

The game is tonight at 7:30 at the Turner-Neathery Gymnasium. For more on all things Cedar Shoals Basketball, tune in tonight at 5 p.m.
