Commerce City Board of Education wants a reassessment

The Commerce City Board of Education is asking property assessors to take another look at property. Because property values in the city of Commerce have decreased, the board of education is receiving less to include in its budget. The school superintendent says he wants to see if the properties may be worth more money, which could give the board the ability to collect more taxes.
