ATHENS, Ga — A junior offensive linemen entered Sanford Stadium on Saturday as a team capitan, but the Vanderbilt game wasn’t the only thing on his mind this weekend.

LaGrange, Georgia native Chris Burnette proposed to his girlfriend Arielle Hayes at Athens Church on Sunday afternoon following the game. Here’s the video of what happened.
