Athens, Ga- April Byrne’s says the packets are where she likes to check. April is the Volunteer Coordinator for Project Safe Thrift Store for the last two years and has had customers find 200 dollars in a wallet.

Jessica Pilgram is the manager at Athens Thrift store and has seen numerous interesting items. She says they have found 2000 dollars in cash in a bank envelope, a ten Karat diamond bracelet and even a live gas grenade that she had to report to the police.

It is safe to say that you never know what you will find at a thrift store.
