Athens, GA-  Nineteen year old, Donovan Reed Thurmond, was a part of an investigation occurring on January 29th. During this investigation of a burglary at a residence on Brock Road in Jackson County, money and a gun was recovered. The investigators were able to arrest Thurmond on one count of burglary. Thurmond’s bond hearing was held January 30th and set for $10,000. Thurmond is still currently incarcerate in the Jackson County Jail.
