99% of Judia Jackson Harris Elementary Charter School‘s students qualify for free or reduced lunch says Assistant Principal Beverley Harper. Reporter Katie Kraft will tell you how a group of financially challenged 5th grade students are raising funds for an educational field trip to St. Simons Island through a gofundme account. Katie talked to the 5th grade teacher Ms. Bashie Ebron and four of her students who desperately want to go on the trip. A student teacher, Ms. Colin Fite, is also helping these 5th graders fundraise through a Facebook group.
